We’ve been building this season online, in living rooms and festival venues across the world — and we couldn’t be more thrilled to finally wrap it with an offline gathering and a guest as sharp and singular as Wassim Alsindi. PhD physicist, artist, philosopher, and founder of 0xSalon — a counter-institutional collective that has been critically interrogating digital culture from Berlin to Bangkok. A perfect fit.

"We have time machine at home"

Following on from Søren Peter's investigation into a way to overthrow time, I'll use the film's material to tell a few stories from a different plane of reality: one in which we already have time machines at home, but they aren't for us anymore. Much like Nick Land's inhuman notion of capitalism being an artificial intelligence sent back to assemble itself — hyperstition's original sin, so to speak — I'll bootstrap this presentation from enemy resources. Well ... perhaps I'll borrow a little bit from the research I've done over the years — from physics, to philosophy, and anthropology — into time, technology, and capitalism.
